Translation phase

Firstly, we receive the project to be translated, regardless of the format the material is in. After a thorough evaluation, we prepare a quote which is sent to the client in less than 24 hours. Bearing in mind the work field, we select the professionals that will be in charge of the different stages of the project: translation, editing and proofreading. Finally, we prepare the necessary materials to make their tasks easier (glossaries, translation memories and termbases optimization, format conversion, etc.).

During the translation process, we make sure there is constant communication between the Editing & Proofreading Department and the translators, so that they can have a gist of what the project is about, which in turn will speed up the editing process. Consequently, before even getting down to work on their assignment, editors and proofreaders are already familiarized with the doubts and difficulties that appeared during the translation phase, which allows them to have a more complete perspective of the project at the editing phase.

After the editing process is finished, proofreaders make a final revision of the material. This work is not performed on bilingual texts but only on the target language text. Once the translation problems have been solved, we correct all the typing mistakes, as well as the grammatical and syntactic errors, if any. Also, we make sure the text reads fluently, so that the audience feels comfortable while reading the translation.
